Dear friends, in honor of my oldest son’s high school graduation, I am posting a “bookish” look! I am so proud of him and the wonderful young man that he has become. He is smart and talented, but by far his best quality is his kindness and empathy for others. Even though graduation was not quite how we would have envisioned it, it was nonetheless memorable and special. Highlights included a car parade with twenty friends through our neighborhoods and a “drive-thru” socially distanced diploma ceremony in front of his school and an online ceremony later in the evening that featured each student individually. He was presented with the “Understanding and Sharing Diversity” award and I couldn’t be any prouder! In light of recent events, it is heartening to see that this generation will hopefully lead the charge to promote respect for all our brothers and sisters, no matter their race, religion or sexual orientation.

Ok, enough of the proud mom moment! This paisley look caught my eye as soon as I saw it. This print is so pretty and flattering and the store has several items in the same paisley design (see the collage below and click on the images). I really like that the pieces are wrinkle free and can be worn together or separately. I have seen quite a few paisley prints adorning dresses, tops and skirt lately and I think that paisley will have a huge moment continuing through the fall and winter months. So, you could wear this suit with a light tank in the summer months and then add a slim cashmere turtleneck sweater with booties in the cooler months. But, I digress; let’s not think about snow right now!!
