Dear friends, today is a big day; it’s Halloween, my birthday and the one year anniversary of my blog and Instagram account!
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for following along with my adventures in fashion, beauty and cooking here on my little spot on the internet. I’ve been blessed to have met so many wonderful people through this blog and on my Instagram account (where I have close to 16K followers) and to have created some meaningful and supportive relationships with old and new friends and fellow bloggers/content-creators! You have been so kind and supportive of me and I always appreciate your thoughtful comments and advice 😘
A lot can happen in a year; I have learnt so much about the technicalities of blogging and creating content on Instagram. I am starting to get some small sponsorships from brands, many of whom I already support and love, and for that I am so grateful! I have always loved writing and photography and had dreamt of starting a blog for many years. Last year finally felt like the “right” time to do that and I jumped into this new adventure knowing very little but wanting to do so much! This has and continues to be a learning process and I am fortunate to be able to continue my work through this pandemic that we are living through. Blogging has afforded me a wonderful forum where I can share what I love, but also where I can connect, grow and learn from others. This bond with the outside world has been so welcome at this unusual time in our history where we have become so isolated in many ways. I hope that you and your families are well and coping as best as you can under these trying circumstances.
