Dear friends, I have been on the “contouring” trend for the past few years and am a big fan; what else can make you look like you just returned from a sun-kissed vacation in Rio, with the perfectly retrousse nose and having lost 10 lbs?! I know that a lot of people get put off by the garish and clown-like look of contouring, but when cleverly done and blended judiciously, it can give the face a beautifully sculpted look.

I have listed all the products that I have used for this look, including some items from makeup artist to the stars, Gucci Westman’s, line, “Westman Atelier.” I have been wanting to try some of her products and I really like the cream contour and blush that I used for this look: The trick to picking a good contour shade is making sure that it veers to the cool side of the color spectrum, since natural shadows on the skin are cool, not warm. I must give a shout out to my “Cle de Peau” concealer; there’s a reason that it is a cult favorite! Believe me, I have tried pretty much every concealer out there, and nothing compares to this product. It imparts the most beautiful skin-like finish to the skin without being heavy or settling into fine lines. It gives buildable coverage and lasts on the skin all day. This is the brush set I use for contouring (see above for link)
Apply cream versions of contour (1), concealer (2) and blush (3). See above for links.

This is the blush, powder contour, highlighter and sponge that I use. See above for links.
Apply creams (1), (2) and (3) in this pattern.
Use these brushes. From top to bottom: (a), (b) and (c).
Blend out cream contour using firm side of brush (a).
Blend out concealer using a damp beauty sponge.
Buff in cream blush using compact side of brush (c).
Blend out nose contour using smaller side of brush (b).

Apply powder contour using fluffy side of brush (a).

Apply powder blush in pressing motion using compact side of brush (c).
Apply highlighter powder to top of cheeks and bridge of nose using fluffy side of brush (c).

Voila!! The finished look!
