Press on Nails: imPress kit (on sale for 30% off right now) // Bag: Bespoke lucite clutch (you can personalize it with your name or your monogram)!
Dear friends, during this time of quarantine I know that many of us have started getting very creative with our beauty routines! The stores are selling out of hair dye and google searches for at-home beauty treatments have shot through the roof! Well, I have a great option for an affordable, easy and beautiful manicure that you can do on your own right in your own living room (kitchen, bathroom, etc…)! The entire process only takes about 15 minutes and anyone can do it, even if you have two left hands! I’ve been using this brand of press-on nails for years and love them. They last at least two weeks for me, and I am, by no means, easy on my nails considering all the baking, hand-washing, dish-washing and gardening that I do!
Scroll down for step by step instructions on how to apply these nails (and for other “buy from home” options from the same company):

Ground Turkey Fried Rice
Dear friends, how is the cooking situation at your home? I feel like I’ve been cooking non-stop for the last couple of weeks! It’s often hard to come up with new recipes that are quick and easy yet tasty and satisfying. I am sharing a recipe that I came up with for a take-out favorite: Fried rice. Instead of the usual chicken, I’ve substituted ground turkey for a change of pace. In the recipe, I’ve suggested using onions, carrots and peas, but feel free to use other vegetables that you may have laying around. In the pictures below, I’ve used frozen edamame instead of the peas. I’ve also added snow peas and chopped red peppers in the past. Instead of ground turkey, you can use ground or shredded chicken or tofu. The options are limitless! If you end up making this dish, please let me know how it turns out!

Dear friends, how are you all doing? I know that life is so surreal right now and that fashion seems to be such a frivolity during these challenging times. I hope that you don’t mind me posting outfits here. I know that I enjoy looking at all of your lovely, positive images and the photos of your beautiful families on social media. I post to share my love of color, the art of photography and a well-crafted image just as much as I do for the fashion component! It’s so nice to have these outlets where we can connect with one another at a time that can be so isolating. I am hoping that you are weathering this storm in the company of loved ones and that you are able to maintain your jobs and routines as best as possible. I know that a rainbow of hope and renewal exists beyond these clouds and will be with us soon. Take care.
