Dear friends, how are you all doing? I know that life is so surreal right now and that fashion seems to be such a frivolity during these challenging times. I hope that you don’t mind me posting outfits here. I know that I enjoy looking at all of your lovely, positive images and the photos of your beautiful families on social media. I post to share my love of color, the art of photography and a well-crafted image just as much as I do for the fashion component! It’s so nice to have these outlets where we can connect with one another at a time that can be so isolating. I am hoping that you are weathering this storm in the company of loved ones and that you are able to maintain your jobs and routines as best as possible. I know that a rainbow of hope and renewal exists beyond these clouds and will be with us soon. Take care.
If you are in the mood for it, you can shop my weekly list of fashion sales and deals below. Happy (bargain) shopping:

Shop this Look Here:
Dinner Plates: Blue and pink gingham plates // Dessert Plates: Bunny plates // Napkins: Purple gingham napkins (old from “Homegoods”). Similar here // Flatware: Gold flatware set (old). Similar here.
The stores are stocked with the most delightful Easter items. I was traipsing through my local Target store a couple of weeks ago and fell upon these adorable bunny and gingham plates! I like that they can be used at any time of the year beyond Easter and I plan on mixing and matching them with other plates that I already have at home. They are made out of a heavy melamine which is great because they can be used indoors and outdoors without any fear of them breaking. You won’t believe the price for these cute pieces; $3 for the bunny plates and $3.50 for the gingham plates! They’re also available online. Hop to it!!

Dear friends, bright jewel tones are going to be big this spring! I found this adorable top and skirt at one of my favorite retailers, Shein. It’s so vibrant and feminine with the ruffle sleeves and hem. The waist is cinched with a flattering tie and the asymmetrical gold embroidered floral design adds an unusual design touch. Both pieces are less than $22 each and when paired would make a perfect outfit for a bridal shower, summer party or ladies’ lunch!

Dear friends, floral ditsy prints are so popular for spring. You can find them all over prairie-style dresses, maxi skirts and blouses like the one I’m wearing here. I love the shirred bodice paired with the flattering billowed sleeves and square neckline and the fact that it’s only $20! I’ve topped off the look with my favorite $15 fedora. Shop My Look Here:
Top: Cream silky tie-neck blouse // Pants: Rose gold sequin jogger pants // Earrings: Old (from Baublebar). Similar here // Shoes: Two-tone pumps
Dear friends, you may have seen these sequin jogger pants all over Instagram or in the fashion magazines. They have been hugely popular and the stores can’t keep them in stock. They are from “Free People,” a company know for it’s boho-chic style. There’s a reason that they’re flying off the shelves; they’re really comfortable!! They are lined with a thin jersey layer which renders them warm and soft to the skin. They have a drawstring waist and cinched ankles that can be worn scrunched up the calf, for a different look.

Coat: Pink faux fur coat (old from Meijer; yes, the grocery store)! Similar here // Bag: Champagne bottle purse // Boots: Wedge snow boots (old). Similar here.
Dear friends, I’m caught in a blizzard. Please send champagne immediately!! How cute and eye-catching is this champagne bottle-shaped bag? If you look at the close-up photo, you can see that it is encrusted with a glitter and sequin trim and comes with a gold chain handle that converts it into a cross-body style. I had seen this bag about a year ago but didn’t purchase it at that time. I was still thinking about it and, lo and behold, it recently showed up on the DSW website for $65!
Paw Prints // Slip Dress & Jacket
Shop My Look:
Jacket: Red Faux leather bomber jacket // Dress: Leopard slip dress // Shoes: Patent leather booties // Earrings: Old. Identical ones here.
Dear friends, who doesn’t love a good animal print?! This particular dress caught my eye because the leopard print is executed in such an unusual combination of colors. The red, blue and pink color way is so striking and pairs perfectly with this vibrant cherry red faux leather bomber jacket. The dress comes in two other designs and the jacket is stocked in four colors. You won’t believe where I got these two pieces: Walmart!! I do my grocery shopping there, but buy clothes? Who would have thought!
Fireworks // Sequin Coat Dress
Shop My Look Here:
Coat/Dress: Sequin floral coat dress // Earrings: Gold ball clip-on earrings (old from Zara). Similar here.
Dear friends, I have always admired the elegant, bohemian luxury of designers like Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera. Both of their designs have withstood the vagaries of time and trends; pieces from their collections from decades ago can be worn today and still look current and classic. With their attention to design and use of opulent and luxurious fabrics comes a hefty price tag, though! When I saw this gorgeous coat (it can also be worn as a dress) at a new favorite store of mine (“Akira“), it reminded me of something that would be seen on the ramp at New York Fashion Week in either of their collections. I was even more excited when I saw that it was on sale for less than $100! The entire garment is encrusted in vibrant sequins in a design that reminds me of fireworks and it comes with a detachable belt that can be used to cinch the waist. I plan on wearing this as a dress to cocktail parties and as a topper over jeans and a blouse and knee high boots for dinner out with friends or to attend a concert. Check out the store’s website here. I really love its glamorous vibe!

Sweater: Cable knit one shoulder sweater (mine is in the color “beige.”) It comes in 5 colors ($35) // Earrings: Light pink beaded earrings (old by Sachin & Babi). Similar here (only $32)
Dear friends, I posted a photo of this sweater on Instagram a couple of weeks ago. Several of you have asked for a more detailed shot, so here you go! I had never ordered any clothing from Whosechic before, so I was a little leery when placing my online order for this sweater, a gold blazer and a lace top. Well, I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised when all three items showed up looking as listed on the website! Shipping was a little slow (2 weeks), but I feel that this was a reasonable amount of time considering I availed free shipping and the pieces were shipped directly from China. I’ve just placed another order for a few more items. I’m sure they’ll be showing up on my blog soon! Enjoy shopping the sales this week. The detailed list is below:
