 Dear friends, I want to share the work of one of my favorite designers, Carly Cushnie of the New York design house “Cushnie.” I was so excited to hear that she was doing a collaboration with Target since I have always admired her sophisticated styling and silhouettes. She’s created an amazing capsule collection of dresses featuring her artfully crafted designs and refined sense of minimalism. She is one of the few Black women at the helm of a luxury design house. I’ve shown three of my favorite pieces from her collection here and they’re all less than $60! You can view several of her other pieces at the end of this post. I’m so happy to see that all the pieces in this collection are offered in sizes ranging from XXS-3X!

It seems so strange to be returning to posting “regular”content with so much turmoil going on in our country and in our hearts, but It has been heartwarming to see so many influencers supporting and sharing the words and work of so many Black writers, thinkers and artists. I hope that we all continue this momentum and one day succeed in making the world “colorblind.” May we all be recognized for our talents and kindness rather than the color of our skin ♥️
